- Businesses (proprietorships, firms, companies, etc.) meeting investment/turnover criteria can register.
- Individuals cannot register directly.
- MSME Classification
- Micro: Investment ≤ Rs. 1 crore, Turnover ≤ Rs. 5 crore
- Small: Investment ≤ Rs. 10 crore, Turnover ≤ Rs. 50 crore
- Medium: Investment ≤ Rs. 50 crore, Turnover ≤ Rs. 250 crore •
- Separate registration for international business.
- 10-digit code issued by DGFT with lifetime validity.
- Individuals/companies can apply using business/individual name.

- Access the Udyam registration portal
- Gather required information
- Self declaration
- Online registration
- Verification through Aadhaar OTP
- Upload the required documents
- Verification and Final submission

- Proof of business registeation or Incorporation certificate
- Address proof of the place of business
- Identity and address proof of promoters/directors
- Bank account statement/Cancelled cheque
- Digital signature
